It stars hunky Mario Maurer, a half German/Chinese/Thai hottie, and Sweetheart Fern Pimchanok Luevisadpaibul and she's what I call 'Honte ne Kawaii desu~~!!'
Mario stars as Shone; the schools resident cutie pie/hottie. He plays as Nam's (Fern) love interest. In the movie he have best friend named Top, (LOL!! When he first mentioned Top, I was like "TOP? Where?!!" Cuz I thought he was referring to Big Bang's TOP. Yeah I'm that obsessed.) whose also cute!! He's played by Acharanat Ariyaritwikol.

Now let's go to Fern. Fern plays Nam; the movies protagonist and also "The Ugly Duckling". At the start of the movie, she's dark-skinned, short-haired, kind-a geeky (she has glasses and kinda smart) and all that stuffs but as the movie continues she becomes more and more beautiful. Here's a pic.

Since this movie is really popular here in the Phil. many compared her to Filipino/Chinese actress Kim Chiu, because she's her look-alike. Now let's compare them...
There's also another Filipino celeb look-alike in this movie. Teacher Inn and Pokwang, a Filipino comedian. Not only they look like each other, their personalities also clash!!
Though to me Teacher Inn looks more like Mommy Dionisia, Manny Pacquiao's beloved mother.
I found out about this movie through my aunt whose a drama addict, she especially like asian dramas. I already knew about it since its trailer is already aired in ABS-CBN, the largest broadcasting network here in the Philippines, though I didn't really give it a second glance, 'but since my aunt recommended it then it must be really really good!!'; that's what I thought and you know what? It's really good; simply amazing!! Not only the main characters have chemistry; the acting was also great!! I also love the soundtrack!! I H♥ART the Plot!! Kinda like the Ugly Duckling(Though I have one complain: why in the world did the directors didn't put a kissing scene??!! Sure there's a kiss between Top and Nam; though only the cheeks, but that is a different issue. The main couple should have one!! What was they thinking??? *continues to whine* [Spoiler tagged]
